About The Dante’s Boys Foundation
The Dante’s Boys Foundation is dedicated to continuing the spirit and legacy of Dante Benedetti. Simply put, helping kids through active participation in sports. For nearly 40 years, Dante was San Francisco’s own “Mr. Baseball” to thousands of boys and young men. His kindness, generosity and occasional firm hand guided many young boys away from trouble and back on the road to becoming responsible adults. His legacy continues to live on in many of “Dante’s boys” who have become respected leaders of their communities.
The Foundation’s objective is to preserve the legacy that Dante Benedetti left the San Francisco community by supporting the development of the next generation of Dante’s boys. The Dante’s Boys Foundation is providing meaningful financial support to organizations that facilitate active participation in athletics for underserved youth in the Bay Area.
